Great to see you back, and I'm happy you had such a fun time recharging. And that record store! Zaharias alone sounds like it was worth the trip. Looking forward to seeing what's up for grabs on the 21st!
thanks so much, kevin! highly recommend greece if you can ever go for a true vacation. got some good things coming up on the 21st but let me know if there is anything YOU want to see in the sale and i'll see what i can dig up!
thanks so much, rich! i love hermanos gutierrez! they've been on rotation this summer too and i'm sure an Amsterdam show was incredible (makes sense with your Platypus Records post which was awesome). also, i just listened to Hermanos Gutierrez on one of my favorite podcasts IDENTIFIED. It's hosted by Nabil Ayers, Roy Ayers' son, who has an incredible memoir that I highly recommend too - https://open.spotify.com/episode/2prZE0DfJPMzssinASkw3O?si=87d5f4de0dde453a
Thanks man, will check this out now. They certainly have a tight brotherly bond and seem like such cool guys! Came out to meet fans after the gig - very humble 👌
you would LOVE Greece! the island weather, the cuisine, the views and the ocean. it was just so peaceful. Athens is a pure top notch hustle bustle city and so fun. so many records to listen to and unpack hahah. thanks andres!
It's been 14 years since I moved out of the country but when it comes to specialisation, focus and dedication on specific genres (like metal and punk) the Greek record stores are top notch. These 2 links sum it up pretty well :

Love this post, Kadrian, and glad you had a sweet break! Looks amazing, as does Zaharias!
This summer, I’ve been spinning a lot of Hermanos Gutierrez - so chill and atmospheric - and had the luck of seeing them last weekend in Amsterdam!

Thanks for sharing. This record shop will def. be on the list, next time I visit Athens.
so glad you'll be able to check them out and support!
The landscape looks stunning... that sea! I'm so glad you had such a nice and well-deserved break.
I have yet to visit Greece but I know the first place I'll be visiting when I first set foot in Athens... that store must be to die for!
Now, enjoy the new records while you unpack (classic, isn't it?) and good luck with the sale!!
